The ASUS ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro is officially arriving in the Philippines on December 8, 2021. Both devices are minor updates to the ROG Phone 5 series with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset, more RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The launch of the ROG Phone 5s series will happen in collaboration with the introduction of PUBG: New State, a next-generation battle royal mobile title from global gaming publisher KRAFTON.
Starting this month, ASUS and KRAFTON will present a global series of elite showmatches – ROG Phone 5s x PUBG: NEW STATE Elite Showmatch – with a combined prize pot of gaming gear worth USD 50,000.
The tourney will feature a series of 100-player online tournaments across the EMA and APAC regions. Over 20 of the top influencers around the globe will join in the battle ground and players can join the survival matches.
Representing the Philippines in the showmatch are DoNnn and Tricia Potato who will be using the ROG Phone 5s. They will be streaming the matches on their own social media accounts.

ROG fans in participating regions, including Germany, France, UK, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Russia, Japan, and Taiwan, can also get unique in-game items — including ROG-branded parachutes and T-shirts — to put on their game characters.
