It’s indisputable that the ASUS ROG Phone II is one of the most powerful smartphone this generation. It does, however, come with a bit of a price tag. Luckily enough, ASUS ROG Phone II Strix Edition has been launched that largely shares the same performance without the enormous price.
The ASUS ROG Phone II Strix Edition still comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset but RAM has been lowered to 8GB while internal storage has been downgraded to 128GB of UFS 3.0 compared to the original’s 12GB/512GB setup.
Aside from the lowered RAM and storage, the ROG Phone II Strix Edition still comes with a 6.59-inch AMOLED 2340 x 1080 screen that runs at 120Hz and has 10-bit HDR, 600nits of brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
