The ASUS ROG Strix G and Strix Scar series are getting 2022 updates with new processors which includes the Intel Core i9-1200H and AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX. The new platform also includes the upgrade to DDR5 memory as well as new GPUs like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti on some configurations.
The ROG Strix G and Strix Scar’s new internals are getting new cooling systems with 84-blade Arc Flow Fans with variable thickness blades, 0dB Ambient Cooling, and Thermal Grizzly’s Conductonaut Extreme Solution for higher sustained boost clock speeds while keeping noise down.
All 2022 ROG Strix notebooks will include Dolby Atmos support and Hi-Res audio for headphones. Their I/O ports will include various options like USB 3.2 Type-A and Type-C and even Thunderbolt 4 in some instances for futureproofing.

Official pricing and availability of the ASUS ROG Strix G15 G513, G17 G517, ROG Strix Scar 15 G533, and Scar 17 G733 in the Philippines are yet to be announced. We expect to receive more information from the brand once they launch locally.
