ASUS ROG is upping the ante in the gaming notebook market by introducing the ROG Strix Scar III and Hero III, one of the first notebooks to have a display with a 240Hz refresh rate.
As of now, details are still sparse for the ASUS ROG Strix Scar III and Hero III. All we know for sure that both notebooks can be decked with a 15.6-inch 240MHz display with a 3ms response time.
Both notebooks will be available in 17.3-inch variants although the larger size will sacrifice speed rated at only 144Hz and a response time of 3ms.
The ASUS ROG Strix Scar III and Hero III has added a Keystone feature. Essentially a physical key for the notebook, the keystone will provide visual and audio effects when plugged in. It will also activate different gaming profiles as well as enable a hidden partition for the user’s privacy.
It can be safely assumed that both the ASUS ROG Strix Scar III and Hero III will come with high-end components such as a 9th generation Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs.
No word yet as to when the ASUS ROG Strix Scar III and Hero III will arrive in the Philippines. We expect to see more of these notebooks soon with Computex 2019 just on the horizon.
