High refresh-rate monitors can be the difference between life and death in the digital battlefield. ASUS Republic of Gamers aims to deliver that leg-up to gamers with the PG27VQ, which sports a 165Hz refresh rate as well as NVIDIA G-Sync.

Fitted with a 27-inch Twisted-Nematic (TN) panel, the PG27VQ was able to reach a refresh rate of 165Hz, which is almost thrice the frames that can be shown by a 60Hz panel in a second. The 1ms response time also allows gamers to react much faster to the chaos in games. Of course, the performance is bolstered with NVIDIA’s G-Sync technology to eliminate screen tearing in-game.

With a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 (WQHD) gamers can see more detail while in games. To further improve in the immersion, ASUS has curved the display to an 1800R curvature for a more comfortable viewing sessions as well as RGB lighting at the rear of the display that can be used together with the ASUS Aura Sync.

The ASUS ROG Swift PG27VQ will be available at a price of PhP 48,870 this November 2017.
