The beastly ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 is getting a major upgrade this generation by receiving not only a faster display but a more powerful computing duo in the form of AMD’s Zen 3 processors and NVIDIA’s Ampere RTX 30 series GPUs.

You can choose either a 15.6-inch Pantone Calibrated 3840 x 2160 IPS display with a refresh rate of 120Hz or a 15.6-inch Pantone Calibrated 1920 x 1080 IPS screen running at 300Hz and with support for Adaptive Sync. Regardless of the chosen main screen, the secondary screen will be a 14.09-inch 3840 x 1100 IPs screen complete with touch and stylus support.

Inside its Magnesium Alloy chassis is a Zen 3 Cezanne-based AMD Ryzen 9 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU. You will also get up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3200MHz and up to 2TB NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 SSDs in RAID 0.

Its slim 21mm package is able to cool down all the components thanks to the Active Aerodynamic System + just under the secondary display. This allows the notebook to suck in more fresh air for more cooling. ASUS is also using Liquid Metal as TIM on the processor to squeeze an additional 10% more performance due to the more efficient cooling.

You are also getting quite a few quality of life improvements on the new Zephyrus Duo 15 GX551 such as AI Noise Cancelling and a Dolby Atmos-tweaked audio system. Battery capacity stays the same at 90Whr but charging speeds have been turned up to 11 thanks to its 280W AC Adapter as well as support for 100W USB PD charging.
