AMD is powering yet another notebook in the ASUS ROG lineup. The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 is one of the first notebooks from the brand to sport an AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS processor.
The AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS inside the Zephyrus G15 doubles the core count of the previous generation. It now comes with 8-cores and 16-threads to muscle through demanding workloads such as content creation and gaming.
The new processor from AMD is paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (or a GTX 1660 Ti). Its display is a 15.6-inch display that can reach a refresh rate of 240Hz with a 3ms gray-to-gray response time. It is also factory calibrated and Pantone Validated to give creators a full-range of colors to work with.
Users can deck the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM at 3200MHz and up to 1TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD storage. The notebook is also compatible with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 for faster wireless transfer speeds.
As part of the Zephyrus lineup, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 comes in a 19.9mm chassis. Although its thin profile could trap more heat, ASUS has implemented a self-cleaning thermal module and anti-dust tunnels.
ASUS has placed the heat pipes away from the CPU, GPU, and other components to ensure optimal cooling for any kind of workload. The ROG n-Blade fans are now 33% thinner compared to other designs allowing the fan to fit 83 blades for maximum airflow.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 is expected to hit the market within the first quarter of 2020. No word yet of its pricing locally.
