ASUS has finally jumped on the DFHD bandwagon with the VG49V. With a 3840 x 1080 panel that can reach up to a refresh rate of 144Hz, the VG49V offers a super ultra-wide gaming experience without any kind of distractions from a bezel.
Instead of a TN panel, the VG49V uses a VA panel with a 4ms pixel response time. The gaming experience is bolstered by the inclusion of FreeSync as well as ASUS’ Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB). ASUS also rates the input lag of the monitor at just 11.9 milliseconds.
The VG49V also comes with two 5W speakers for a complete experience. It’s also TUV Rheinland certified and has Low Blue Light technology to optimize viewing comfort for the eyes.
