ASUS Republic of Gamers might have opened a new concept store for its southern fans, but that doesn’t mean that the surprises will stop there. Present that the opening of the ASUS ROG concept store in SM Mall of Asia, it seems that the brand will be bringing the ASUS TUF Gaming FX705 to local shores.
A direct upgrade from the ASUS TUF Gaming FX504, the new ASUS TUF Gaming FX705 sports a larger 17.3-inch FullHD (1920 x 1080) IPS display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and anti-glare coating. The FX705 also comes with a larger 256GB NVMe M.2 SSD inside accompanied by a 1TB HDD.
Aside from the larger screen and faster storage, the ASUS TUF Gaming FX705 comes with largely the same specifications as the previous TUF Gaming notebook. Inside is an Intel Core i7-8750H Coffee Lake processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB for its GPU, and 8GB of RAM clocked at 2666MHz.
The ASUS TUF Gaming FX705 is expected to hit the Philippine market within October 2018 or early next month.
