The ASUS TUF M3 Gaming Mouse was sent to us for review with a little note saying that it is one of ASUS’ budget-friendly releases. Knowing ASUS, budget is not something you’d often hear. So we checked it out and reviewed it for our readers looking for a new decent gaming mouse. Is it something worth considering? Is the quality up to task? Let’s find out.

The TUF M3 Gaming mouse is pretty standard with 7 buttons and RGB Lighting. It has 2 buttons for quick DPI control and 2 buttons on the left side. All buttons are programmable and can be used to macro difference tasks and commands.
Despite having the name of ROG Armoury II (Armoury Crate), the program itself can be used to control the settings of TUF devices. In this all-in-one program, you can configure the settings of the buttons, the color of the LEDs, and the DPI of the M3 Gaming Mouse.
The Armoury II is also very handy as it shows which devices you can update in one sleek and easy to read page. You do not need to visit all of the attached ASUS devices’ page, you just need to click “Update” here and you’re good to go.
ASUS has learned from past mistakes and has made the software very functional. It does not require that much computing resource and it actually works if you tinker with the RGB settings!
Let me begin by saying that if you already have a decent gaming mouse, then you don’t need to replace it for the ASUS TUF Gaming M3. But if you are currently looking for a decent one in the market, then best consider this one and have it on your list. While not too special, the TUF Gaming M3 does things right. Ergonomically, it makes good use of the design of another excellent ASUS gaming mouse, the ROG Gladius II. So, you’re definitely in the right to expect something grand with this one.
One notable thing is that ASUS again has touted this as budget-friendly. That’s something we can definitely say is true. Sure, you might have to shell out a few more dough compared to the legions of cheap gaming mouse in the market, but also consider things like warranty, quality, and longevity. Given that ASUS is confident enough to sign their “TUF” moniker here, you could expect the Gaming M3 to check those 3 points.
Lastly, I am personally glad that this thing has a very good paint coverage. Having sweaty palms, I have qualms with some gaming mice in the past losing some of their color due to oil slowly peeling off their paints. But with this one, you don’t have to worry about that. Extended gaming sessions due to being locked in the house proved that the Gaming M3 can handle sweaty palms. Just remember to regularly clean it off after each session.
In conclusion, I have high praises for this gaming mouse. Here in Hungrygeeks.ph, we greatly consider the price of every product when reviewing devices. This product gives you exactly what you pay for (or more). It is feature-rich, easy to use, ergonomic, and the paint doesn’t tear off even after intense afternoons. Again, consider getting this one if you’re looking for a new gaming mouse for your battle station.
