This is a notebook that you can expect to get quite a lot of attention in the near future and currently has a bit of buzz because it is firing shots directly at Apple’s current MacBook Air and the upcoming Macbook. It is similar in specs but almost half the price. People are very interested in this thing and I had this notebook for two weeks now. Read on for my in-depth review.
The top surface of the notebook has a brushed aluminum design, it also has a radial pattern and this kind of surface doesn’t quite attract fingerprints that easily so don’t worry in showing off. The bottom of the notebook is also aluminum but has a different kind of finish similar to the MacBook. The speakers are also located on both sides.
In terms of size, it is a little bit smaller, shorter and lighter than Apple’s 13-inch MacBook variant. If you pay closely to the sides of the notebook, you may notice the elegant diamond-cut finish on the edges of the notebook.
Something to notice on the SD slot though, it feels very loose and there is no click or any kind of friction whatsoever to tell you that the SD card is inserted properly. So it actually slides in and out pretty easily.
On the other side, you will see an orange light to tell that you are low on battery and green if it is full. It will take about 4 to 5 hours to fully charge the battery from empty to full.
