The ASUS VivoBook S 15 2024 has been unveiled at the brand’s Next Level. AI Incredible. launch event. It is the first ASUS notebook to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X platform and will come with plenty of Windows 11 integrations including Copilot+ and Windows AI in addition to exclusive ASUS AI apps.
The Snapdragon X-based VivoBook S 15 notebooks will come in two CPU configurations: the 12-core Snapdragon X Elite or the 10-core Snapdragon X Plus. They can be equipped with up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 storage.
The platform will also include two USB 4.0 Gen3 Type-C ports with support for display and charging, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm combo jack, and a MicroSD card reader.
The Elite variant comes with a built-in Qualcomm Hexagon NPU with 45 TOPS Neural Engine for faster AI processing. This enhanced processing power can be leveraged by advanced features like Windows Studio Effects v2 to enhance lighting and noise removal during video calls, ASUS AISense Camera with AI-powered Security, and Live Captions for accurate real-time subtitles.
ASUS packs the VivoBook S 15 2024 with a 15.6-inch Lumina Display with an OLED panel at 2880 x 1620, 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3, and HDR True Black 600 rating. They claim that the notebook can last up to 18 hours on a single charge and will support 90W USB-C charging.

The ASUS VivoBook S 15 S5507 with the Snapdragon X Elite chip is now available for pre-order from select retailers at USD 1,299 for the 16GB/1TB variant and USD 1,399 for the 32GB/1TB model. The brand is planning to the Snapdragon X Plus model later this year.
No word yet if the Qualcomm Snapdragon X-powered ASUS VivoBook S 15 will come to the Philippines.
