The ASUS Vivobook S 15 has arrived in the Philippines powered by the new Snapdragon X Elite platform. This is the first Copilot+ PC to come out from ASUS, and will come with enhanced AI features thanks to its new chip plus better battery performance promising up to 18 hours of usage on a single charge.
The Vivobook S 15 sports the Copilot+ tag from Microsoft thanks to the improved AI performance brought by its Snapdragon X Elite chip. Its Qualcomm Hexagon NPU sports 45 TOPS for faster AI processing and allows you to run local AI workloads such as Live Captions, Cocreator, and Windows Studio Effects V2. The ARM-based chip also runs 16.5% cooler compared to similar x86 CPUs.
ASUS is also adding their own AI-flair on the notebook, bundling it with StoryCube – a Smart Media Hub that takes advantage of AI to integrate your media files across the cloud and devices. Thanks to the chip, it can auto-categorize files by people, scenes, and locations and dates.
The notebook comes with a 15.6-inch 2880 x 1620 OLED Lumina display running at 120Hz. It also sports WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB 4.0 Gen3 Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, and an HDMI 2.1 port. All these are fitted in an all-metal body design weighing in at 1.42kg.
