Small flagships might be short but ASUS is steadfast in catering for this niche market with the new ZenFone 10. Design-wise, it’s still close to last year’s entry but outfits their new flagship with an updated chipset, wireless charging, and a Gimbal Stabilizer 2.0 on its main camera.
The ZenFone 10 has upgraded its chipset to the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 platform with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage. Aside from improved performance, the chipset also has better efficiency for its 4,300mAh battery to last longer. ASUS has added 15W Wireless Qi charging on the handset though wired charging is still limited to 30W.
The rear design is largely unchanged aside from the placement of branding. Its main camera is now a 50MP f/1.8 Sony IMX766 with 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilization 2.0 that promises blur- and shake-free videos. ASUS keeps it simple by only adding a 13MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera as a secondary lens.
Up front is a 5.9-inch 2400 x 1080 AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus running at 144Hz. According to them, color should be outstanding with 112% DCI-P3 color coverage while brightness maxes out at 1100 nits peak.

No word yet if the flagship will arrive in the Philippines. Given that we skipped the ZenFone 9, we don’t have high hopes for the ZenFone 10 coming to local shores.
