Launched last year, the ASUS ZenFone 5 will be getting its anticipated Android 9.0 Pie update this month. Aside from updating the smartphone’s OS, update V16.0610.1812.58 will also be adding new features such as a new contextual pop-up volume bar and a new Magnifier.
The update will be available via OTA and will notify users once it’s ready. If there’s no update notification, the update can be checked and started manually by going to Settings > System > System Updates.
As for the ASUS ZenFone 5Z and 5Q, their respective Android 9.0 Pie updates will be available sometime at the end of January 2019.
