ASUS has just announced the ZenFone 5 series back in MWC 2018. There were three SKUs in their announcement: the ZenFone 5Z, ZenFone 5, and ZenFone 5Q (or Lite in some regions). There were no mention of the Max series coming back with the ZenFone 5. Spotted on Geekbench, however, is a smartphone with the model number ASUS_X00QD which is expected to be the ZenFone 5 Max.
Based on the information posted on Geekbench, the ASUS ZenFone 5 Max will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 paired with 4GB of RAM running on Android 8.0 Oreo. There’s not much about the smartphone from Geekbench but we expect it to be announced soon.
