The ASUS ZenFone 5 series are already slated for announcement on MWC 2018. Several renders, however, have leaked pointing to the design of the new ZenFone series.

The leaked render shows a 5.7-inch 18:9 display akin to that of the ASUS ZenFone Max Plus. It could also sport an aluminum unibody. Coming around the back is a vertically-aligned dual rear camera setup. Based on what we’ve experience with previous dual-camera ZenFones, it would probably a primary + a wide-angle camera setup.

The microUSB port at the bottom says that this render probably isn’t a flagship smartphone since ASUS has already migrated to USB Type-C on their flagship smartphones since the ZenFone 3.

Nothing’s set in stone yet for the ASUS ZenFone 5 series. We’ll know more when ASUS officially announces it on February 26, in MWC 2018.
