ASUS has officially placed a countdown for the launch of the upcoming ZenFone 7. The brand will be launching their latest addition into the ZenFone series on August 26 at 2:00pm Taiwan time via their official Taiwan YouTube account.
Based on current rumors, ASUS might be launching two smartphones: the ASUS ZenFone 7 and the ZenFone 7 Pro. The vanilla will allegedly come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 while the Pro version will ship with a Snapdragon 865+ chip, much like with their ROG Phone 3 series.

The teaser posted on the brand’s Twitter account shows the design of the upper portion of the smartphone. It seems that will not be adopting a pill-style or punch-hole on the ZenFone 7 series, which suggests that the may still be using last year’s motorized swivel camera.
The ASUS ZenFone 7 series are also suggested to come with 8GB of RAM and 5,000mAh battery. Charging speeds might also be increased to 30W from last year’s 18W Fast Charging. Leaks say that the ZenFone 7 series will be positioned at EUR 499 for the 6GB/128GB version and EUR 549 for the 8GB/256GB model.
