ASUS ZenFone Max M2 and Pro M2 launched in Russia

ASUS’ latest addition to their Max lineup has been announced in Russia. Composed of the ASUS ZenFone Max M2 and the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2, both smartphones are expected to release in the Philippines on December 11, 2018.

ASUS ZenFone Max M2

The more budget-oriented among the two smartphones, the ASUS ZenFone Max M2 comes with a 6.3-inch HD+ 1520 x 720 screen. Housed on its notched display is a single 13MP selfie shooter. The plastic rear, meanwhile, comes with an 8MP + 2MP dual camera setup as well as a fingerprint scanner.

As with most smartphones in the Max lineup, the ZenFone Max M2 comes with a relatively massive 4,000mAh battery as well as a triple-cut SIM tray that can support Dual-SIM and a dedicated microSD slot.

ASUS ZenFone Max M2

Like the ZenFone Max M2, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 comes with a 6.3-inch screen although the panel has been upped to a notched 6.3-inch FullHD+ 2280 x 1080. It comes with the same 13MP front-facing shooter while the back has been upgraded to a glass rear with a 12MP + 5MP primary cameras.

The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 comes with a larger 5,000mAh battery compared to the Max M2. It does, however, have the same triple-cut SIM tray for Dual-SIM and microSD slot.

The ASUS ZenFone Max M2 is priced for RUB 12,990 (USD 195 or PhP 10,300) while the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 is going for RUB 17,990 (USD 270 or PhP 14,300). With its release date in the Philippines already on the horizon, we’ll be knowing the exact Philippine price of both smartphones soon.
