It seems that only yesterday that ASUS launched their new ZenFone 5 series. In our interview with ASUS execs, however, they teased that the Max Pro is incoming sometime in the future. That time, however, is now as ASUS has launched the ZenFone Max Pro M1 in India.
In terms of design, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 doesn’t detract too much from the most recent entry in the Max series; the ZenFone Max Plus M1. The Max Pro comes with a 5.99-inch FullHD+ IPS LCD panel that’s capable of displaying up to 450nits of brightness.
The Max Pro comes with a dual camera setup; a 13MP f/2.2 primary camera and a 5MP wide-angle secondary shooter. The front, meanwhile, houses an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.
The biggest difference of the Max Pro from the Max Plus is the SoC inside. The Max Pro M1 comes with a much more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, which is the same as the ZenFone 5 (2018). The SoC is complemented by up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB. Here are the full specs of the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1:
