Azur Lane, a Naval Shoot ’Em Up mobile game published by Yostar, is introducing the brand new Sakura Empire major event, “Violet Tempest, Blooming Lycoris”. This event reveals Musashi, one of the Yamato Class Battleships. The story starts with her offering an invitation to a chess game. Additionally, there will be four new shipgirls, a series of new outfits, Academy-themed gear skins, and multiple rewards.

The new event will be live from September 15th to October 5th, featuring a Rapid Training Campaign. During this campaign, players can log in to obtain skill books and 20 wisdom cubes. Players can also finish 10 classes immediately when using Skill Books at the Tactical Class each day. Additionally, players under Lv.80 will earn double commander and ship EXP from sorties. A 3 x Core Data bonus is also available when clearing the hard stages during the event.
A new “Special Login Campaign” is also up for a limited time. Players can log in during the campaign period to earn multiple rewards. A Rerun event: Port Eating Contest is back, players can play the minigame and collect 7 icons to get Yuudachi’s retrofit item “Eau de Barbecue.” Players can also get a limited portrait frame: “Violet Lightning Storm” with Pt from clearing event stages with Jintsuu, Suzutsuki, Kongou, or Kawakaze.
Five new characters are added to the Sakura Empire, including one Ultra Rare ship, Musashi. Two Super Rare ships; Wakatsuki and Sakawa. There are also two Elite ships; Haguro and Miyuki. Musashi, Sakawa, and Haguro enjoy a rate up from the limited construction. HMS Shropshire and USS Juneau are now equipped with New Retrofit.
Musashi is a Yamato Class battleship that could fire her special barrage and increase a tremendous amount of her critical rate. Her first skill can improve her firepower and increase her critical damage with equipment from the Sakura Empire. Her special skill “Musashi’s Guardianship” could status all other Main Fleet ships that no longer take Ramming damage and cause Musashi to be prioritized by enemy attacks.
In this event, Manjuu Academy Festival is the newly added furniture set. The shipgirls are dressed up in maid outfits to celebrate this brilliant festival. A new gear skin box “Academy Festival” is also available for purchase, as well as different resource supply packs.
The new outfit series is live featuring various shipgirls. One stunning L2D outfit, Sakawa – The Colors of Love is available as well. Players can log in during the event period to earn 2 rental outfit vouchers, which can be used on the following outfits: Sakawa – The Colors of Love(L2D), Musashi – Violet Moonglow, and Wakatsuki – Slapdash Blue Sparrow.
