Naval Shoot’ Em up mobile game, Azur Lane, recently announced its new update with the event “Parallel Superimposition”. 5 Eagle Union shipgirls gained new powers, Yorktown ushered in her new second generation version and became the first Ultra Rare Aircraft Carrier for the faction. New themed furniture sets, new gear skins and 16 new swimsuit costumes are available during the event. “Parallel Superimposition” event runs from December 22nd, 2022 to January 4th, 2023. In order to investigate the strange phenomenon of Anchorage, Commander was separated from the companions in virtual space and arrived at an unknown horizon after seeing the dream where the Sea of Stars was attacked. By clearing event stages and collecting Points, Commanders can earn rewards including Super Rare character Hornet II, event-limited Elite character Langley II, and Ultra Rare Gear AD-1 Skyraider, etc.
Additionally, 4 mini-events are introduced in the Vacation Resort. Commanders can redeem rewards in the Souvenir Shop through constructing and running a hot spring hotel in the “Open-Air Onsen” event, earn Birmingham’s swimsuit skin “To Where the Wind Blows” in the “Sirens VS Swimsuits” event, get the 7 pick 1 SR ship coupon by signing in on the “Blessings and New Year’s Invitation” event page and open up lucky pouches every day in “Try Your Luck” event. Yorktown II can decrease the airstrike loading time and increase the damage of the Yorktown-class and Essex-class Aircraft Carrier in the fleet and enable them to launch an interceptive airstrike during battle.
When Hornet II launches an airstrike, she can launch an extra special airstrike with aircraft torpedoes and rockets and inflict a special Burn ailment to enemies hit by the rockets.
When there are Eagle Union Aircraft Carrier and Light Aircraft Carrier in the fleet, Northampton II can launch a special barrage that ignores the shields and decreases the speed of the targeted enemies.
Hammann II can increase the airstrike damage of the Aircraft Carrier and Light Aircraft Carrier in the fleet and reduce the damage taken by the flagship when Hammann II is alive.
Langley II can increase her Aviation stats based on the number of Aircraft Carrier and Light Aircraft Carrier in the fleet, and increase the Accuracy of all Aircraft Carrier and Light Aircraft Carrier in the fleet.
UR Aircraft Carrier Yorktown II, SR Heavy Cruiser Northampton II and Elite Destroyer Hammann II can be obtained through the construction pool with a rate up. SR Aircraft Carrier Hornet II is redeemable in the event shop and can also be acquired in the construction pool, Elite Light Aircraft Carrier Langley II can only be obtained by accumulating PT in the event.
16 new skins are introduced in this update. The game has prepared the swimsuit skins for the 5 new ships, “Bright-Sky Mermaid” for Yorktown II, “Racing Across the Waves” for Hornet II, “Swimming Star” for Northampton II, “Another Rebellious Summer” for Hammann II, “On-the-Clock Vacation” for Langley II and 11 new swimsuit-themed skins for other shipgirls.
