The Beda Boys of San Beda University is moving on to the vivo Turbo Cup Challenge SEA Finals after winning the Philippines’ finals last June 19.
From 21 team qualifiers, 16 teams have advanced to the Country Finals’ preliminaries and the top 4 winners will advance to compete for the USD 20,000 prize pool for the SEA Finals.
The Beda Boys team is headlined Mark Lauren “Toopro” Lauren, Yuris Jaime “ALPACEshibaVII” Ducos, Mar Hegel “1GBgab” Sonaco, and Ron Chester “sinAPAK” Atmosfers. The team was in lead during the vivo Turbo Cup Challenge Country Finals and maintained their momentum with 95 total points. Other teams that placed in the tourney were Tip Gingers, UC Jaguars, and Michaelans of Elevate Sports secured second, third, and fourth, respectively.
The regional finals will happen on July 9, 2022 at 1:30pm and will be livestreamed at vivo Philippines’ official Facebook page. Teams will be fighting for a USD 20,000 prize pool and the chance to become the first-ever vivo Turbo Cup Challenge SEA Champions.
