The company behind the popular iPhone, Apple has finally sent out their invite for their iPhone 7 launch on September 7. Though the invite maintains Apple’s minimalist approach, there’s a big clue on what will be the most highlighted feature of the next iPhone: the Bokeh Apple logo. It might mean that the camera will be Apple’s go-to card for the iPhone.
We already know that the larger iPhone 7 will sport dual camera lens but we are not yet sure how Apple will use those. They have two options here: the LG path or the Huawei one. LG’s approach on dual camera is that the first camera sports a regular lens while the other one has a wider lens giving you an option to use one depending on the situation. On the other hand, Huawei’s approach aims to give a better quality by making the other lens monochrome to capture more detail and to create an artificial depth of field look.
By analyzing Apple’s invite with it having a logo that is made of Bokeh, we can very much say that Apple will be taking the Huawei P9’s path on those dual cameras. While we are not actually sure that Apple will also have a monochrome lens, we are expecting that the other lens’ objective is to create a sharper and more detailed photo.
Of course, I might be wrong on this one. I’m just analyzing the one Apple invite poster.
