Biostar have announced two new motherboards for Intel Coffee Lake systems. Using the B360 chipset, the Racing B360GT5S and B360GT3S offer lower costs for a motherboard for budget-conscious rig builders that want to get a Coffee Lake processor.
Biostar Racing B360GT5S
The Biostar Racing B360GT5S allows gamers to enjoy the latest technology. The B360GT5S has support for dual-channel memory with speeds of up to 2666MHz. It comes with an 11-power phse design, three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots, two M.2 32GB slots, and an integrated USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C port.
Rear I/O ports of the board comes with a legacy PS/2 connector, two USB 3.1 Gen2 ports (Type-A and Type-C), two USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, DVI-D, HDMI 1.4, D-Sub, an Ethernet port, and six 3.5mm jacks.
Biostar Racing B360GT3S
For the small form factor builder, the Racing B360GT3S comes in a micro-ATX form factor with support for RAM speeds of up to 2666MHz. It has a more modest 7-power phase design comapared to the 11 of the B360GT5S. It also comes with two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, one PCIe 3.0 x1, and two M.2 32GB/s slots.
At the rear of the B360GT3S is a legacy PS/2 port, two USB 3.1 Gen2 ports (Type-A and Type-C), two USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, DVI-D, HDMI 1.4, D-sub, Ethernet port, and six 3.5mm jacks.
The Biostar Racing B360GT5S will be available for USD 109.90 while the micro-ATX Racing B360GT3S will retail for USD 94.90.
