Amazon started out as an online bookseller 20 years back and to pay homage to what it was before, Amazon opened up a store in Seattle called Amazon Books.
This is Amazon’s first actual bookstore and although very similar to a traditional bookstore; Amazon Book will be relying on Amazon.com data complete with customer ratings, sales totals, and Goodread’s popularity to decide which books to stock. Amazon products like Kindles, Fire Tablets, and Echo will be for sale as well.
If you happen to pass by Seattle’s University Village you might want to visit Amazon Books. They are open seven days a week but are closed on holidays.
