2K and Gearbox Software has announced that Borderlands® 4, the definitive looter-shooter and latest entry in the genre-defining Borderlands franchise, is now available worldwide for PlayStation®5 (PS5®), Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Borderlands 4 for Nintendo Switch™ 2 will be available on October 3, 2025.
To celebrate this milestone launch, Borderlands® 4 recently organised a one-day-only experiential pop-up event, held on 12 September at WE ART @ Orchard. The event drew Singaporean fans who came to experience the world of Borderlands firsthand through gameplay sessions – either on PC or PlayStation®5 – and get their hands on exclusive collectibles. Exclusive to the event, event attendees had the chance to try out Borderlands® 4’s splitscreen couch co-op mode onSony PlayStation®5.
Singapore had the honour of being the only city in Southeast Asia, alongside Thailand, to host a pop-up as part of the game’s Asian tour, which includes an ongoing month-long experiential campaign in Taipei, Taiwan, which concludes on October 9, 2025.
The event saw the official unveiling of Borderlands® 4’s exclusive collaboration with Singapore-based creative studio, Tell Your Children. As part of the game’s global launch, the studio created a series of Singapore-exclusive character cards that reimagine iconic Borderlands characters in their unique artistic style, blending youth and street culture with eclectic visuals and whimsical concepts.
The series of character cards created by Tell Your Children features fan favourites Claptrap and Psycho Bandit, along with the four new Borderlands® 4 playable Vault Hunters: Vex the Siren, Rafa the Exo-Soldier, Amon the Forgeknight, and Harlowe the Gravitar.
The collaboration with Tell Your Children is part of Borderlands® 4’s regional efforts to collaborate with local artists, such as Taiwan’s poyunwang, and Indonesia’s Eastwood Gun, to express the spirit of the game and its community—that of a gamer reborn, edgy and electrifying. This bold artistic expression captures the authenticity and creativity that makes the Borderlands franchise so unique and beloved. Beyond the limited edition Tell Your Children character cards, lucky fans also walked away with exclusive Borderlands 4 loot like T-shirts, pelican cases, and metal trading cards.
Attendees were also able to experience the full force of Borderlands® 4’s newest co-op campaign firsthand, immersing themselves with the high-fidelity vision of the chaos that is Borderlands® 4, supported by NVIDIA’s DLSS 4 technology. DLSS 4, powered by the GeForce RTX 50 Series, gave gamers the most high-fidelity visuals thanks to AI-powered DLSS Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Super Resolution’s AI transformer model to enhance image quality.
Starting today, Singaporean fans can look forward to receiving a copy of Borderlands® 4 with select GeForce RTX 50 Series. Fans will receive a copy of the game with the purchase of qualifying GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, or 5070 desktops or graphics cards, or laptops with a GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, or 5070 Laptop GPUs at participating retailers.
