We visited the new BYD Glorietta 1 Experience Hub which is conveniently located adjacent to the SM Makati Store, now we realize that this store location has a strong foot traffic and road traffic as well since its a main artery for the people of Makati who roams around the CBD center. Hence this is also a great location for cars to be transported in-and-out of the store.
The hub features the flagship model BYD Tang which features the latest innovations of the brand such as the demo of the Blade Battery and interactive displays.
We appreciate the very immersive style of experience hub inside the BYD store as compared to other brands which lacks in immersive atmosphere, but this might be also a double edge sword as this might be intimidating to introverts to go inside the hub.
All display units have the their own dedicated large format touch based interactive monitors to give more information when needed, but we got a great experience from the staff welcoming us even though it was almost closing hours in the mall. Jasmine (hope I remember her name well) was accommodating our questions beyond pricing too.
The BYD Sealion 6 DM-I was front and center with its own LED Wall cover making the car a centerpiece of the store experience. We overall like the approach BYD is making here for their experience store as it really tries you to be into the zone when checking out their vehicles.
What we love the most was the lounge where engagements for customers is more welcoming compared to the traditional chair and tables of dealerships of traditional brands. Undeniably BYD is elevating their customer experience from the beginning and that is at the hub and until you buy they try to make the whole journey memorable and stand out.
