Canon Philippines has officially brought the EOS R5 Mark II and EOS R1 into the country. Both are their top-tier, full-frame mirrorless camera that promises improved imaging especially for professionals that need the capabilities.
The Canon EOS R5 Mark II inherits the best traits of its predecessor, the EOS R5. Designed to be faster and smarter, it is equipped with a 45MP sensor, up to 8K 60p RAW recording, and a next-generation Dual Pixel Intelligent AF system. It also leverages its Accelerated Capture image processing to achieve autofocus and subject detection performance that surpasses the EOS R3. Its 10-bit Canon Log 2 can reproduce more vivid colors and seamless integration into the Cinema EOS workflow.
The Canon EOS R5 Mark II is now up for pre-order in the Philippines for PhP 249,998 for its body while a body with a bundled RF24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens is priced at PhP 329,998. Both options will come with a free Homan 512GB CF Express Type-B Card.
On the other hand, the Canon EOS R1 sits atop the stack with its 24.2 stacked CMOS sensor, 100% AF coverage with cross-type sensors, and up to 40fps blackout-free shooting. It also supports 6K 60p RAW video or DCI-4K capture of up to 120fps. Its in-body stabilization is rated up to 8.5EV and its Eye-controlled AF now comes with improved eye detection with its Activity AF mode trained on specific sports.
