Alongside the EOS R8 and EOS R50, Canon has launched four refillable ink tank printers to its PIXM Ink Efficient G series lineup – the PIXMA G4770, G3730, G2730, and G1730. All are compatible with the company’s new low-cost ink bottles that allow you to buy and print according to your needs.
These new printers aim to maximize productivity with high print yields and affordable printing. Their easy ink refilling and large reservoirs enables smooth operation for home and small offices. Canon says that with a single set of ink, they can yield up to 7,600 pages for monochrome documents and 8,100 pages for colored documents.
Like their refillable ink tank printers, the Canon G series feature a removable maintenance cartridge that can be easily replaced by you without the assistance of a qualified personnel. Maintenance cartridges will cost PhP 460 while its printer head is priced at PhP 1,680 each.
Canon is also upping their warranty terms for these printers. They will have 2 years of warranty regardless of the number of prints unlike other brands which places a 30,000 prints or 2 years, whichever comes first.
The printers are compatible with the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app. You can set up the printers wirelessly and can print, copy, and scan, check printer status and ink levels, and connect to the cloud. If you are a bit more creative, you can use the Easy-PhotoPrint Editor to customize printing jobs or use templates for a simpler experience.
