Cosplay is an amazing hobby that lets fans see and experience their fandom come to life thanks to the creative minds of cosplayers and crafters. As we continue to celebrate the Half-Year Anniversary of GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE we shine the spotlight on Philippines’ queens of cosplay as they show-off and pop-off in their amazing renditions of our beloved NIKKEs.
From the mighty Nihilister to the absolute boss that is Makima from the NIKKExChainsawman Collab, here are the 8 that stood out and brought life to the mightiest of NIKKES
When Nihilister became a playable character in-game, the community was torn, and not just because of her interesting backstory. AWIE’s rendition of Nihilister though is another story, as this one is sure to capture the hearts of many commanders while at the same time, keeping that intimidating nature of the one that wields the End of the Old World.
Just be sure to not pester her, otherwise it’s gonna be trouble.
Modernia is the new reincarnation of Marian, that very first NIKKE that every commander encounters in their fight to survive against the rapture. Marian not only returns as Modernia in-game though but also comes to life IRL with this amazing cosplay from non other than Myrtle Sarrosa. The avid gamer and content creator gives more than justice into bringing the “epitome of purity” to life, looking both gorgeous, and badass at the same time.
At a glance, Mihara might look like a gentle character, but don’t let looks fool you as she is ready to deal and feel the pain when on the battlefield. These characteristics really come to life as Liabear matches not only the look but also Mihara’s personality in her NIKKE cosplay. Be careful when you asked to get stepped on, because you might instead get a kick in parts you don’t want to.
Sin is a model prisoner, and no I am totally not in mind control when writing this. She is an amazing and kind NIKKE and should be released from rehabilitation immediately. Just like how this electric cosplay by HippoChii is released to the world. Also totally not in mind control, do you ever wonder what she looks like without the mask? Why not take it off and find out.
The NIKKE of principle with a will of iron but also with a kind heart, Sakura is not the one to be messed with unless you wanna deal with the wrath of the Seimeikai. The underworld queen is brought to life by a real queen, Roxane Kho, as she put together an amazing rendition of the gangster boss. The most awesome thing behind it all though? This was all done in less than a week!
Stashed within Liberation and undergoing rehabilitation, Guilty is a force to be reckoned with. Possessing immense strength, far beyond other NIKKEs, commanders are warned against letting her go up until she completes her rehab process. Speaking of Guilty, cosplayer Diane Sabandeja is guilty as well into bringing Guilty to life, chains, weapons and everything.
Red hair bosses with bad attitudes, in a good way, that’s what best described both Volume and Makima. Both bosses in their own right, these 2 NIKKEs will get you pumped and make you bark not just in-game but also in real life as they come to life in the hands of Charess. The cosplayer from queen city once again flexes her creativity and versatility in capturing not just the looks but also the attitude.
A bombastic shopaholic and a brash fiend, 2 personalities that are way different from each other yet Miho is still able to capture both in her cosplay of Rupee and Power. Showing off that luxe appeal with Rupee and the confident attitude of Power, Miho definitely did not miss in her own cosplay double-header.
