Cherry Mobile is back with the new 2024 Aqua series smartphones. They are introducing two new smartphones under the belt – the Cherry Aqua S11 Pro and Aqua GR – both of which are being touted as budget-friendly gaming devices.
Cherry Aqua GR and Aqua S11 Pro
The 2024 Cherry smartphones is being led by the Aqua GR. It comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chip with 8GB RAM with an additional 8GB expansion and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone will also pack a 108MP main camera, a 16MP front-facing camera, a 6.7-inch 120Hz Curved AMOLED screen, 5G connectivity, and a 4,700mAh battery with 66W Fast Charging.
On the more affordable scale, the Aqua S11 Pro is a bit cheaper but that doesn’t mean it skimps on the hardware. The smartphone sports the same 256GB UFS 2.2 and 8GB + 8GB RAM as the GR. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 platform and will come with a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Fast Charging. Its display is slightly smaller at 6.7 inches but comes with an AMOLED panel and 120Hz display plus it will sport a 64MP main camera at the back.
Both smartphones will come with NFC and they will come with Android 13, but there’s no word if there will be long-term support for either of them.
Price and Availability
The Cherry Aqua S11 S11 Pro and Aqua GR are priced at PhP 7,999 and PhP 11,999, respectively. The two are now available in the Philippines via Cherry’s official website, Shopee, Lazada, and authorized retailers nationwide.
