Cignal is improving their Connect Satellite broadband by offering faster speeds and prepaid plans. They are now offering the service with up to 15Mbps speeds in prepaid packs of up to 70GB for up to 90 days. Previously, they were only offering fixed plans of up to 10Mbps for up to PhP 23,500 per month.
Cignal Connect Satellite promises connectivity for customers anywhere in the Philippines. With its relaunch, the prepaid packs will start at 10GB pack valid for 30 days and can be boosted up to a 70GB pack for 90 days. See the list below for available data packages for the service:
Regardless of the type of data amount that you choose, there will be a one-time charge of PhP 36,000 for the satellite kit and PhP 6,000 for installation for a total of PhP 42,000. This will get you an Antenna and Block Upconverter for a stable service and an HT2010 modem for residential and SME use.
To be clear, Cignal Connect is a satellite service that can deliver Internet connection even if the area is not covered by fiber or mobile broadband. It is significantly slower than wired or mobile data connections but they can reach customers located in remote or isolated areas.
