Colorful has officially launched their first X870 motherboard for the AMD Ryzen 9000 series, the Colorful CVN X870 Ark Frozen. It is inspired by CVN or Aircraft Carrier Nuclear with its military-inspired aesthetics.
The Colorful CVN X870 Ark Frozen’s aircraft carrier-inspired look features large frost gray heatsinks and a titanium gray-colored PCB. – the first of Colorful’s AM5 motherboard to feature this colorway. Additionally, it has bright orange accents throughout while its M.2 heatsinks sport lines similar to the runway of an aircraft carrier.
As for performance, the motherboard features a 14+2+1 power phase design to enable CPUs such as the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D to run as fast as it can. It also supports 6400MHz C28 memory and a new X3D Game Mode in the update BIOS, which optimizes its configuration for better performance.
The CVN X870 Ark Frozen also comes with a rear latch design to provide easy removal of the graphics card and prevents damage to the PCB. Colorful has also extended the one-click lock mechanism for a better and more user-friendly installation experience for builders.
