Colorful has officially launched their take on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 series cards. They are initially introducing three series: the Vulcan, Neptune, and NB EX RTX 40 series GPUs.
The Colorful Vulcan series will come with several improvements over its predecessor. The refresh will come with a new Hurricane Scythe Blade fan for more airflow at lower noise levels, a detachable magnetic display that can be mounted horizontally or vertically, and low-key RGB strips that are customizable via the iGame Center.
The Neptune RTX 40 series will be having a new look and an upgraded liquid cooling solution. The new cards will come with a silver and white color scheme, a metal cover with a matte finish, and two RGB light strips that run through the cover for ambient lighting.
The aforementioned cooling solution will have a 360mm radiator, three 120mm PWM fans with RGB lighting, and a full-cover copper waterblock that covers the GPU chip and the VRAM.
The more affordable of the Colorful offerings, NB EX RTX 40 series cards will still come with largely the same design with a triple-fan cooler with 98mm fans with thicker blades and a Black and Red colorway,
The new generation cards will also come with the iGame Center with a new UI to improve user-friendliness with its intuitive design. It also features an OSD Window that minimizes to a compact widget that displays real-time monitoring information about the GPUs and other components.
Pricing and availability for the new Colorful Vulcan, Nepture, and NB EX RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 cards are yet to be announced. More information should be unveiled once we near the October 12 and November launch of the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080, respectively.
