You have just watched the opening cinematic of Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void, and I have to say that while watching this, I almost cried.

This might be the last Starcraft of our decade, and the generation today might not be able to play the next Starcraft title. Starcraft 1 was released back in 1998, while Starcraft 2 was release back in 2010. The next should title could be released around 2022 which I will be 33 at that time and will be unwilling to play games religiously.

Talking about this cinematic, it breaks my heart that the once proud Protoss is being dismantled by the Zerg swarm, one zealot charged toward 3 banelings to protect his comrades. Then, when two templars merged; I thought the archon would wipe the whole Zerg army, but an Ultralisk came up and fought the archon. When a single Zealot remained, I almost forgot that there was a warping pylon. And then…… I was so happy! Very happy!

Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void is now available in beta and pre-purchased, and will be fully available by November 10.
