Another addition to the ROG (Republic of Gamers) family from ASUS if finally available locally. The ROG GR8 is a console-inspired gaming PC that is packed inside a 2.5 liter chassis with a Core i7 procesor, Nvidia GTX 750ti graphics, 16GB DDR3L memory and a choice between an HDD or SSD. It comes preinstalled with Windows 8.1 with built-in Miracast receiver for streaming HD content. It supports 4K displays with HDMI or DisplayPort connectivity.
Like the ROG stuff we are used to (for those who are not familiar), the GR8 comes with GameFirst III which particularly targets online gamers; it also comes with SupremeFX for immersive sound. For the technical users, it is upgradable with special slide-off covers for easy access if you are looking to insert additional HDD or SSD.
The design is also as expected from the ROG line, it comes with a matte-black finish, Mayan- inspired detailing, and pulsing illuminated ROG logo. NEAT!
But wait, there’s more!
Asus throws in the ROG Gladius optical mouse (6400DPI optical sensor, tracks up to 200 inches per second and 50g acceleration) and the M801 mechanical keyboard (MX-grade red mechanical switches).
The only downside (maybe) is the price, it comes with the SRP of 57,990Php.
