Netflix’s ISP Speed Index has ranked Converge ICT first in their ISP Speed Index taken last December 2020. Converge ICT tops the leader board with an average of 3.4Mbps for its users.

Other ISPs trail behind Converge ICT with Globe and PLDT placing at second place with an average speed of 3.2Mbps, SkyCable at third with 3.0Mbps, and Royal Cable at 2.6Mbps ranking at 4th place.

Netflix’s ISP Speed Index has been designed to measure which ISPs in their respective regions can provide the best primetime streaming experience. Speed and bandwidth is important for streaming in order to avoid buffering, pixelization, and other issues while watching content.

Today, Netflix and other streaming sites have tons of 4K content to provide more detailed and immersive viewing. Netflix recommends a minimum connection of 25Mbps for 4K video.

Converge ICT currently offers Internet plans starting at PhP 1,500 per month for a 35Mbps connection (previously 25Mbps). You can check out if other plans and coverage in your area through their official website.
