Could this be the design of the Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone?

-

New screenshots have surface from a supposed teaser video of the Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone, which points to its design. It seems that the device will indeed sport a rather gaudy gamer look while redesigning the camera placement to fit the ergonomics of gamers.

The Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone is sporting an eye-catching design with a blue hue with the Lenovo Legion branding and logo having a horizontal orientation at the back presumably to show its design while playing. The rear lenses has been moved as well near the center of the device. Allegedly, the two cameras at the back will be a 64MP main sensor and a 16MP ultrawide angle lens while selfies will be taken by a pop-up 20MP front camera, which is also placed at the middle.

It seems that the Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone will have two USB Type-C ports: one at the bottom and one at the middle. Both ports will provide charging; the latter being out of the way when playing horizontally. Leaks suggest that the device will come with 90W charging as well as a 5,000mAh battery. There’s no indication that there will be a 3.5mm jack, which suggests that users might need to get a wireless solution unless Lenovo includes a USB Type-C to 3.5mm jack adapter.

It has already been confirmed that the Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 alongside other smartphones. New information, however, suggest that the device will come with a 2340 x 1080 144Hz display, UFS 3.0 storage, and faster LPDDR5 RAM.

Since the smartphone has been designed for gaming, it seems that Lenovo is addressing cooling quite a bit. Marketing materials say that the device comes with a “3D cooling tower structure with dual heat pipe partitions.”

With more and more information becoming available about the Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone, we hope that we hear more concrete details from the brand in the coming weeks or months.
