HMD Global Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas, has basically confirmed that the smartphone will launch on MWC 2019 in Barcelona. This time around, it seems we’re going to get a first look at the Nokia 9 PureView before its launch.

The latest leak for the press renders seems pretty legitimate based on what we’ve seen so far of the smartphone. Based on the images, the Nokia 9 PureView won’t be joining the punch-hole display club in this generation unlike its peers.
The Nokia 9 PureView is suggested to stock to a more traditional 5.99-inch screen, 18:9 aspect ratio with an expected resolution of 2880 x 1440. This means that the display won’t be an all-screen display thus the top and bottom chin remains.
Since the device will be a top-of-the-line smartphone, it is expected to have at least Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 if not a Snapdragon 855. The chip is anticipated to be backed by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Nokia 9 PureView’s party piece, however, is its penta-lens setup courtesy of ZEISS. It is speculated that the smartphone’s cameras will be able to capture five simultaneous photos and stitch them together for better detail and HDR.
