Dead Space Remake Infinite Money Guide
Requirements
- Pulse Rifle
- Upgrades (more is better)
- $5,000
- Nodes (more is better)
- Nearby Shop & Bench
For you to be able to pull this off, you need the above items and tools. The Pulse Rifle is the main tool here and you can find it immediately once you reach the Medical Bay in Chapter 2. Getting all of the upgrades for the Pulse Rifle also helps but that requires you to progress the story.
How To Get Infinite Money/Credits
To get an absurd amount of money with little capital, we take advantage of a glitch in the game. See, if you upgrade a weapon’s capacity using a bench, the weapon’s magazine miraculously fills itself up. Now, unlike other weapons, the Pulse Rifle and the Line Gun can plant mines/traps as their secondary fire. When toggled, these leftover traps can be converted to ammo, allowing the player to pick them up once again. We will use this process to get unlimited ammo for the Pulse Rifle and sell it to the shop to then get an unlimited amount of money.
How Much Money Can I Get?
To test, I started with $3,350 credits and with maximum upgrades for the Pulse Rifle. After 4 minutes and 15 seconds, I ended with $23,850 which gives me a net profit of $20,500. If you do this continuously in an hour, you’ll end up with a whopping $287,000.
Steps To Get Infinite Money In Dead Space Remake
- Use the tram to go to the Hangar-Cargo-Tram Control station.
- Use the right door to go to the front of bench.
- Turn around and unload all of your Pulse Rifle ammo using the secondary fire option.
- Use the bench to upgrade one capacity node to increase the ammo capacity of the Pulse Rifle.
- Exit the bench.
- Repeat steps 3 to 5.
- Once you run out of nodes or capacity upgrades, use the bench to reset the node upgrades of the Pulse Rifle.
- Repeat steps 3 to 5 until you run out of credits to reset the upgrades.
- Get all the ammo and go to the Shop.
- Sell all the Pulse Rifle ammo.
- Go back to the Bench and repeat the process of unloading ammo, upgrading, and then resetting.
- Get rich.
Can Be Done As Early As Chapter 2
This infinite money technique can be done as early as chapter 2 as that is where you can pick up the Pulse Rifle. Again, the more upgrades that you have for the Pulse Rifle, the better. This is because you get access to more capacity nodes that you can upgrade, further increasing the amount of money that you can get with each single run.
Special Upgrades Do Not Provide Ammo
A thing to note is that the second upgrade of the Pulse Rifle adds 20 rounds to its maximum capacity. Unlike normal capacity nodes, this special one does not refill the magazine. However, if you have enough nodes to spend, you can still get it during the early allotment of nodes for each run as it does give a decent amount of increase to your next capacity upgrades, allowing you to unload more Pulse Rifle ammo.
