DITO caps off the year with the Philippines’ Fastest Mobile Network Award from OpenSignal. The independent mobile analytics company placed the telco at the among its 14 categories.
Its ranking among the Philippine telcos were based on OpenSignal’s October 2024 Mobile Network Experience report. DITO consistently outranked its competitors in their Video, Games, Voice App, Download Speed, and Upload Speed experiences.

These milestones are not just accomplishments nor mere awards; they are reflections of DITO’s dedication and affirm the strength and reliability of our network,” said DITO Chief Executive Officer Eric Alberto
In terms of speed, DITO boasts a speed of 287.2Mbps compared to Smart’s 147.5Mbps and Globe’s 95.2Mbps. Its users also experience overall download speeds at 34.6Mbps compared to Smart and Globe’s 28.6Mbps and 20.9Mbps, respectively.
2024 is also a strong year for DITO as their final technical audit put them at 86.3% coverage and launched their Home WOWFi prepaid 5G plans. They capped off the year with 14 million subscribers on top of their Ookla top spot placements at Q3 – Q4 2023 and Q1 – Q2 2024 rankings.
