We’ve heard from multiple credible sources of a new smartphone brand entering the Philippines. After a day of that brief conversation, we saw this ad of Doogee Philippines is now in the Philippines.
While the brand Doogee is not new in the Philippines as they tried to enter before around 2018 through Lazada, the brand wasn’t successful enough to do so in offline / physical stores. Since then the brand has focused on rugged phones and affordable tablets. Their official cover photo is teasing their latest Doogee T30 Pro which is an 11″ 2.5K display tablet powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor and Quad-Speakers.
Right now the brand is just building followers and momentum by giving away prizes to their fans. But we hope to see some additional tablet players in the market indeed as the tablet market is really not that competitive especially in the android space.
We’ll update you more once we have more details about the progress of Doogee Philippines in the country. As always, we’re happy to see the mobile industry thriving with more and more brands entering.
