The Dyson OnTrac headphones have arrived in the Philippines. First making its debut last year, the OnTrac is Dyson’s latest attempt at entering the high-fidelity headphone space by offering up to 55 hours of uptime, noise cancellation, and customization.
Dyson promises best-in-class active noise-cancellation on the OnTrac. They say that it uses a custom algorithm that users 8 microphones and samples external audio 384,000 times a second. Combined with its microfiber and foam cushions, they say it can cancel up to 40dB of noise.
The headphone uses 40mm, 16-ohm Neodymium drivers with advanced audio signal processing that allows it to reproduce sounds between 6Hz to 21KHz. Its speaker housing is tilted 13˚ toward the ear for a more direct audio response.
Capacitive sensors are placed on the earcups that automatically play or pause when they headphones are placed or removed, respectively. A built-in joystick can be used for playback controls or held down for voice commands.
The OnTrac also have MyDyson integration, which include real-timesound tracking that monitors in-ear and external volume to alert you from harmful levels of volume. Bass Boost, Neutral, and Enhanced EQ modes are available to choose from.
The Dyson OnTrac is priced at PhP 32,990 in the Philippines, and will start shipping starting August 11, 2025. Though there are four colorways from its international launch, Dyson is currently offering CNC Black Nickel and CNC Copper variants in the country.
