In case you were wondering why your go-to Torrent site (kat.cr) was unavailable yesterday, founder Artem Vaulin was arrested in Poland. In less than a whole day, a good portion of KAT has made its way back to the online world as it was mirrored by IsoHunt. Check out kickasstorrents.website.

The mirror which was hosted by IsoHunt features everything that was uploaded last year but still lacks the forums, community and support of KAT. This said, it does have most of the functionality running.

Also, it was IsoHunt who resurrected The Pirate Bay during its multiple takedowns. They stated: “It’s not perfect but if users need to save and archive something it’s time. We don’t know how long it can last, but at least it’s something.”

IsoHunt is also sending support to Vaulin by linking a petition in the header to “Free Vauling” from what it’s dubbing a violation of human rights.
