The new Warhammer 40,000 Christmas Battleforce boxes have finally been revealed. Included in this great discount box sets are the Emperor’s Children, a faction that finally has escaped from being simply dubbed as “Chaos Space Marines”. But then again, is it actually worth it? Let’s find out and break down the box contents of the Blissbound Warband box set of the Emperor’s Children.
The Blissbound Warband Emperor’s Children battleforce box contains a total of 13 miniatures:
While on the lower end of the model count in this year’s battleforce selection, the Blissbound Warband contains the Primarch of the faction itself. Although you cannot play it on its own, this battleforce has the faction’s base units and the center piece of the faction so you will more than likely buy these models anyway.
The Emperor’s Children 2025 Christmas Battleforce costs around $240.00 or £150.00 if we base it on previous releases. Due to rising costs in the past, Games Workshop has been regularly increasing the prices on their kits. While more expensive compared to the past years, there is still no denying that the Battleforce box sets are a great way to get a lot of models for less.

Despite having one of the lowest model count in this year’s selection, the Emperor’s Children battleforce set is actually the second best in terms of savings.

In the past few years, Battleforce boxes were released on December. We can say the same this time. This may vary though depending on your region. If you’re in the UK, expect an earlier or on time release date. For US, it depends on your nearest hobby store and you country’s Gamesworkshop distribution. Here in the Philippines, the release has been quite on time recently with the boxes ready for release on December or early January.
