Samsung is adding another entry-level smartphone under their belt with the Galaxy A01. Priced at just PhP 5,490, the Samsung Galaxy A01 covers all the basics for a smartphone designed to be budget-friendly.
The Samsung Galaxy A01 is a pretty basic smartphone. At the front is a 5.7-inch 1520 x 720 Infinity-V display. The notch in the middle returns to holds its 5MP f/2.2 front-facing camera.
The smartphone’s rear comes with a dual camera setup composed of a 13MP f/2.2 main shooter backed by a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. Just below the camera arrangement is a single LED flash to help with coverage in low-light conditions.
The device gets its power from an octa-core chip with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. In terms of battery, the Galaxy A01 has a 3,000mAh battery reserve charged via a MicroUSB port at the bottom.
