In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, players can find journals scattered across the game world, one of which is the journal of Expedition 34. Get to know the contents of this journal, where to find it, and more using this guide.
Expedition 34’s journal can be found immediately after entering The Crows. This location is available after finishing Old Lumiere as Esquie gains the ability to crush coral reefs.
Corrine, 34th Expedition
Looks like our elemental-focused strategy didn’t pay off. Who would have thought some Nevrons would be immune to every element.
We have discovered so much though. I suspect there is a deeper level of chroma beyond what pictos enable us to manipulate.
The pull of chroma grows as we get closer to the Monolith. But thus far we’ve be unable to tap into those flows.
Maybe Gustave’s idea to convert chroma from Pictos to… What did he call it? Lumina? Maybe that’s not so crazy after all.
Collecting Journals is not for naught! Once you collect a good amount, you can exchange them for those tasty Colour of Lumina. And it’s not a small amount either, you can get about 100 Colour of Lumina if you collect enough and exchange them at the Gestral Village. You can find this Gestral by turning left and heading towards the Gestral Bazaar once you pass the village gates.
As they were mostly written by members of previous Expeditions, journals explain a lot about the world of Clair Obscu: Expedition 33. These journals contain discoveries, horrors, and even triumphs of those that went before Expedition 33. Collecting them might be optional but if you really want to learn more about the world, you may have to explore a lot while keeping your eyes peeled.
Curious about the best ending for Expedition 33? Wonder know more as we have a handy guide for that.
On the other hand, we can help you in finding the other journals using this handy journal list.
