In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, players can find journals scattered across the game world, one of which is the journal of Expedition 47. Get to know the contents of this journal, where to find it, and more using this guide.
Expedition 47’s journal can be found in the world map, The Continent. After completing Monoco’s station, head west and hug the cliff faces until you see a path going further west. Use that path and head straight. To check if you’re in the right path, a Gestral Merchant named Carnovi should be on your right and the journal of Expedition 47 should be surrounded by ruins to your left.
Thomas of the 47th Drunken Brigade
Benjamin’s been calling us the “Drunken Brigade!” Ha! I love it. Yeah, we do our best work after a few.
The trick is finding that PERFECT point where your nerves have calmed enough that your mind and body are one but no so calm that your reactions are dulled. Some of the lads haven’t QUITE managed riding that edge, but I remain in full control of my body and thoughts!
Oh, sounds like someone spotted another Nevron. Better fuel up for our next dance. FOR LUMIERE!
Collecting Journals is not for naught! Once you collect a good amount, you can exchange them for those tasty Colour of Lumina. And it’s not a small amount either, you can get about 100 Colour of Lumina if you collect enough and exchange them at the Gestral Village. You can find this Gestral by turning left and heading towards the Gestral Bazaar once you pass the village gates.
As they were mostly written by members of previous Expeditions, journals explain a lot about the world of Clair Obscu: Expedition 33. These journals contain discoveries, horrors, and even triumphs of those that went before Expedition 33. Collecting them might be optional but if you really want to learn more about the world, you may have to explore a lot while keeping your eyes peeled.
Curious about the best ending for Expedition 33? Wonder know more as we have a handy guide for that.
On the other hand, we can help you in finding the other journals using this handy journal list.
