Expedition 66’s journal can be found in Esquie’s Nest. After satisfying Esquie with a rock, use the fallen pillar to traverse and exit the area and return to the main cavern. The journal should be at an elevated area to your right, surrounded by dead expeditioners.

Collecting Journals is not for naught! Once you collect a good amount, you can exchange them for those tasty Colour of Lumina. And it’s not a small amount either, you can get about 100 Colour of Lumina if you collect enough and exchange them at the Gestral Village. You can find this Gestral by turning left and heading towards the Gestral Bazaar once you pass the village gates.
